I was skunked tonight at Scrabble Club #350. BUT I was very gratified to see great plays including wonderful bingos. Debbie Bloom had a high non-bingo for 80+ points. If you want a good scrabble challenge you have to join us. Wednesdays at 6PM at Clubhouse #1 in Laguna Woods Village (California 92637).

8 September 2021 Another evening of scrabble at Club #350. See results below. Every game played offers up a scratcher lotto ticket. I found a scrabble scratcher and David Pearl won the category (highest total score for all bingos played during game #3).
1 September 2021 THERE WERE MANY EXCELLENT PLAYS AND LOTS OF BINGOS (using all 7 of your tiles on a single play). Some people who’d like to come and play with us are worried that they are not ‘good enough’ to play with us. That is NOT true. The way we all become better players is by challenging tougher opponents and learning from experience. Everyone is invited to play at Club #350; our door are open to you. Come play next Wednesday at 6PM.

Well, we gave Gary a good send off for his cross country road trip visiting Scrabble Clubs and relatives. He was undefeated today.
Dave had the high game, though, with a score of 507 topping Ron’s 313. Nancy had the high loss when a 425 was bested by Lara’s 473.
Rich had the low win with a 347 victory over Linda’s 322.
The club average was 361 and the bingo average was .9
